GMO’s In Food and/or Genetically Modified Organisms
A GMO or Genetically Modified Organisms are the result of man doing a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species like an insect or animal are extracted and artificially put into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal. The foreign genes come from bacteria, viruses, animal or insects and sometimes even human cells are used! Man is literally playing God and these foreign substances the body simply cannot recognize and use properly, which causes disease. GMO’s in food, should be avoided like the plague!
Hazard’s of GMO’s
In a study done in 2009 it was found that serious health risks were associated with using genetically modified organisms or what are called GMO’s in food. These health risks included: infertility, insulin issues, organ failure, immune problems and were found to be also very harmful to the gastrointestinal tract or system.

A conventionally grown banana would be: number 4011
An organic banana would be: number 94011
A genetically engineered (GE or G.M.O.) banana would be: number 84011.
These tips are specially important now that over 80% of all processed foods in the US are genetically modified. Many countries in the European Union have been banning GM products and produce (including Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Luxembourg). We say “Eat healthy, buy or grow organic”.
